These terms describe the current public experience. They do not replace mandatory rights, consumer protections, privacy rules or any other law that cannot be waived by agreement.

You may access the public pages for personal, lawful and non-commercial use. You may quote short excerpts when the context, authorship and link to the original page remain clear.

You may not make the site, its text, images or identity appear to be yours, or use them to sell a promise, service or product without prior written permission.

The DIÁRIO and other pages are editorial work: reporting, interpretation, criticism, personal observation and cultural material. A text can be useful without being universal, exhaustive, current forever or right for every person and situation.

We aim for care, context and correction when needed. A reference, opinion or narrative is not a guarantee of a result, recommendation of a purchase or professional advice.

Personal access is not a publishing licence.

O CÓDIGO DOS ECOS and its manuscript are protected creative works. Access to the protected reader is personal, non-transferable and limited to the reader who was authorised through the site.

Without written permission, do not reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, lend a digital copy, make the manuscript available to another person, scrape it, extract it in bulk or use automated systems or artificial intelligence to ingest, summarise, train, transform, index or generate from its text. Do not use the site to break the law, harm someone, impersonate Victor Lemos, probe or bypass security, interfere with delivery, distribute malware, harvest personal data or overload the infrastructure.

The prohibitions include automated extraction and scraping of editorial material, attempts to defeat the book reader’s access controls, and using the work or account features to build a competing database, archive, model or commercial product without permission.

The site may link to external publishers, platforms, stores, institutions and social networks. They operate independently, with their own terms, privacy practices, availability and moderation decisions.

A link is a path for further reading, not an automatic endorsement or a guarantee that the destination is accurate, safe, accessible or permanent. Check the destination before sharing information or completing a transaction.

Responsibility has a boundary — and so does a disclaimer.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the site and its contributors are not responsible for indirect loss, interruption, third-party conduct or decisions made solely from general editorial material. That limit is proportionate to the free, informational nature of much of the site and does not promise a particular result.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for intentional misconduct, fraud, unlawful harm, breach of non-waivable duties, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law. Consumer protections and mandatory remedies remain in force.

We may revise these terms when the site, its features, its providers or the law changes. The date at the top identifies the current version; a material change may also be signposted through the affected experience.

Continuing to use a feature after an update means you accept the revised terms to the extent the law permits. If a change requires fresh consent, we will ask for it at the appropriate point.
